OFF LIFE – Britain’s only free street press comics publication – is returning to London’s House of Illustration on 18th September 2014 for another night of fast-paced illustration. Tickets always sell out fast, so grab them while you can!
#QuickDraw is a live drawing night that gives people a chance to draw shoulder-to-shoulder with dozens of other top comic and illustration artists. There is no judging or competition aspect, we simply set themes and let the artists pen their interpretations. Work produced is then hung in the House of Illustration gallery space and even projected on big screens across the venue!
Artists from around the world will also be taking part via Twitter, using the #QuickDraw hashtag to have their illustrations beamed around the House of Illustration in real-time – making it a truly interactive event.
This is the fourth time the OFF LIFE team have held the event and it has packed each venue every time.
“As well as being a chance to flex your drawing skills, #QuickDraw is a great opportunity to meet fellow artists,” enthuses editor Daniel Humphry, “and collar OFF LIFE or the numerous published artists on hand about all things comics and publishing.
