Sneak Preview: Second Sight by David Hine & Alberto Ponticelli, Signing News

Orbital Comics David Hine Signing 10th February 2016

Comic book writer and occasional artist David Hine will be signing at Orbital Comics in London on Wednesday, the release day of his new creator owned comic Second Sight, published by AfterShock Comics.

David began his career at Marvel UK and 2000AD. After writing and drawing the graphic novel Strange Embrace he scripted a number of books for Marvel and DC including District X, the Harvey nominated Daredevil: Redemption, Spider-Man Noir, Batman and The Spirit.

Second Sight, drawn by Unknown Soldier artist Alberto Ponticelli, follows Ray Pilgrim who became a celebrity twenty years ago when he discovered his unique ability to see through the eyes of psychotic killers who were terrorizing London. But his world collapsed around him when he was accused of the same crimes as the monsters he hunted. Now, Pilgrim’s teenage daughter is using her blog to investigate a ring of child abusers that includes some of the most powerful men in British society – men who are prepared to kill anyone who threatens to expose them.

In order to protect his daughter and uncover the truth, Pilgrim must reluctantly revisit his past and the twisted path that led to the hotel room the media called The Bloody Chamber.

Check out some preview pages below from Aftershock, who are also publishing a number of other titles by British creators including Garth Ennis.
