The comic convention calendar has become very busy over the last few years with new events springing up all over the place and one of the newest is the Dunfermline Comic Con which is being held on Saturday 5 March 2016.
This one day convention, organised by the town’s Little Shop Of Heroes comics shop, is being held in the art deco Glen Pavilion in the picturesque surroundings of the town’s Pittencreiff Park and runs from 10am to 6pm.
Comics guests appearing include Mike Collins (Doctor Who – Panini, IDW and BBC publications, as well as being storyboard artist on the series itself), Jamie Delano (Constantine), Yishan Li (Convergence: Blue Beetle ), Colin Maxwell (King Robert the Bruce and the Wars of Independence), Monty Nero (Death Sentence), Alex Paknadel (Arcadia), Claire Roe (Saltire), Neil Slorance (Dungeon Fun) and Simon Spurrier (Numbercruncher).
In addition there will be sales tables, Star Wars cosplay with the 501st Legion, a cosplay parade and competition judged by cosplayer guest Sarah Chrisp, plus the chance to have your photograph taken sitting on the HBO authorized replica Iron Throne from Game Of Thrones.
