In related 3A news, Ashley has also announced he plans to publish his own free digital comic based on his own 3A characters, which he says is something he has been planning for a while.
“Imagine a 2000AD style format but with my 3A IP.s etc,” he explains. “… Sure, there will be a printed version too, but the main purpose is to fill in the gaps, answer questions, and hopefully amuse in regards to the worlds of World War Robot, TK’s, [a series of Tomorrow Kings related figures] and so on. I’ll be handling the writing with TP [Louise], I’ll be laying out some of the stories for the talented BRIZL to finish, plus roping in friends to do special one off’ stories!
“It’s a lot of work,” he acknowledges, “but I think the stories and worlds the characters live in are an important part of 3A and need to be seen.”
