The team behind the ComicScene magazine and web site have just announced a new Scottish comic event, Arts Centre ComicCon (Scotland), which will take place this March at the Howden Park Centre in Livingston.
“Lots of things will happen on the day but to start with there is a comics exhibition, it will be a comic party and a bar,” ComicScene publisher Tony Foster tells us.
Operated by the charity West Lothian Leisure, Howden Park Centre – a major art, culture, theatre, wedding, conference, meeting and party venue in West Lothian – is easy travelling distance from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Falkirk.
The venue offers a continuous programme of professional and amateur live performances in the theatre, including live music, pantomime, comedy, musicals, dance and much more. It’s also base for the staff and members of Firefly Arts, who provide youth theatre and associated services for children and young people aged five to 25.
Keep an eye on the ComicScene web site and social media for event updates and guest announcements. The event takes place on the same weekend as
