Episode 43 of Doctor Who: Panel to Panel is out, and in the section “The Pandorica Opens”, Jeremy Bement reviews the Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor Year Two #2, covers recent news and chats with writer Cavan Scott about the Ninth Doctor mini-series and his big news about the ongoing Ninth Doctor series.
Cavan has written for such popular series as Doctor Who, Penguins of Madagascar, Skylanders, Adventure Time, Pathfinder, Angry Birds, Judge Dredd, Blake’s 7 and Warhammer 40,000.
He was the writer of Titan’s Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor miniseries and along with the new regular series, launching in April 2016, is currently writing his first Sherlock Holmes novel – The Patchwork Devil – to be published by Titan Books in 2016.
Last week saw the release of audio adventure adaptations of two Seventh Doctor New Adventures from Big Finish, directed by Scott Handcock and produced by Cavan: Theatre of War and All Consuming Fire.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
