The Dundee-based investment company the Alliance Trust celebrates 125 years of operations in 2013, and as part of its festivities, has commissioned DC Thomson to provide a number of bespoke Beano cartoons for them to use throughout their communications.
These include favourite characters such as Dennis the Menace, Gnasher and Roger the Dodger making gags about money and investments.
They’ve posted two comic strips with a focus on Savings and Old West Investing (a little hint at their past!) on their web site here and will publish more cartoons over the coming weeks.
Compared to Alliance, Beano publisher DC Thomson is still a youngster at 108!
