Every so often 2000AD clears the decks and brings in a raft of new stories so that new readers can jump on board – and Prog 2250, on sale today, is the next jumping on issue.

As well as a brand new cover by master artist Mick McMahon, this 48-page extravaganza features a brand new Judge Dredd story, “The Hard Way” by Rob Williams and Arthur Wyatt, with art by breakout artist Jake Lynch.
We’re also treated to the return of the stunning-looking, intriguing “The Out“, Dan Abnett and Mark Harrison‘s surprise hit of last year, which sees wandering photo-journalist Cyd Finlea continue to try and find her way through a dangerous universe.
“Scarlet Traces” by Ian Edginton and D’Israeli returns, too, in “Storm Front“. From the original premise of “what happened after HG Wells’ War of the Worlds?”, this series has now progressed into the 20th Century and become a story of prejudice, hope, and giant space battles.
Plus, Gordon Rennie and Antonio Fuso begin a new series of supernatural thriller series “The Diaboliks“; Mary-Poppins-gone-bad Pandora Perfect breaks out of 2000AD Regened into her own series, with “Mystery Moon” by Roger Langridge and Brett Parson; and we get some one-off stories, too – Anderson, Psi-Divison in “Be Psi-ing You“, by Maura McHugh and Lee Carter, and Future Shocks, “The Guardian & the Godchild“, written and drawn by Chris Weston.
