Red Robot, new Local Comic Shop, opening in Barnsley

It’s great to have some good news when we know Local Comic Shops have been struggling after enforced COVID pandemic closures and rising costs – so we’re delighted to report the opening of Red Robot in Barnsley this weekend.

Situated in The Victorian Arcade, Red Robot is opening this Saturday, Saturday 23rd July 2022, a collaboration from Spiral City bar, which is co-owned by comic artist Dean Ormston, and Existential Dread Comics, Barnsley’s secondhand market comic stand.

The new shop will be full of amazing artwork, prints, comics, graphic novels, posters etc. – including, from pictures posted on social media by the owners, British comic annuals.

Get yourselves down for a nosey!
