Week One of the massive Aces Weekly Volume 53, the digital comic anthology published by artist David Lloyd, is now speeding along like the Super Chief Express.
On board are the fabulous team of Lee Robson and Alex Paterson, bringing a new gumshoe onto the scene in “The Emerald King”, who recently chatted to downthetubes about the creation of the story; “Black” is back from Anthony Smith and Tobias Taitt; and dark space adventure “Space Junk” returns from Carlos Pascoa.

Plus, “Golgotha” continues from Alberto Rodriguez and Giovanni Castro Nigio with their intriguing tale of an obsessive risking the disruption of entirely everything; Jok and Santullo go on regaling us with their fantastic tale of conflict in old Brittania, and a quest to seek answers from an ancient monument to magic; and Petri Hänninen and Niccolò Pizzorno take us back to Old West in “The Hunter”!
All that, totalling up to 120 pages, including Extras, and delivered directly to your screens over seven weeks in seven parts, for just £1 per week, in any currency, and which also gets you 54, then 55, then 56, etc, on an ongoing basis, forever. “This is all true, unbelievable though it may seem in this crazy world,” David Lloyd himself assures.
