Titan Comics is to launch a new UK-based Doctor Who Comic on 26th February 2015, on sale in all good newsagents and supermarkets every four weeks.
The 84-page comic joins Immediate Media’s Doctor Who Adventures, Panini’s Doctor Who Magazine (and the spin-off, The Essential Doctor Who Magazine) and the Doctor Who Figurine Collection from Eaglemoss on the British news stand. The anthology title will re-present the adventures of the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors in every issue already published in the US but which have had limited distribution in the UK through comic shops.
Issue One features the first stories published Stateside featuring each Doctor featuring the work of Robbie Morrison, Nick Abadzis, Dave Taylor and others.
Every issue will also feature a humour strip and competitions. In Issue One, readers can win a set of the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctor Vinyl figures. The first issue will also feature an exclusive code to download comic strip characters into the Doctor Who Legacy free-to-play game.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
