The massive multi-media Doctor Who – Time Lord Victorious event has begun and the latest episode of the Panel to Panel podcast, hosted by Jeremy Bement, has the comics covered!
Jeremy reviews of Titan Comics’ first Time Lord Victorious tie-in issue along with Doctor Who Magazine‘s “Monstrous Beauty” Part One, brings you the latest Who comic strip news – and offers his take on the TLV project.
In “Monstrous Beauty”, written by Scott Gray, with art art John Ross, coloured by James Offredi and lettered by Roger Langridge, the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler are trapped in the Dark Times, facing a terror out of myth…
The first chapter of the three-part “Monstrous Beauty” features as part of the supplement magazine included with Doctor Who Magazine Issue 556, on sale now. Alongside the strip, this special extra will include a number of articles about the other Time Lord Victorious strands, which we detailed here.
The comic strip will continue as part of the main magazine in the following two issues and is back as regular fixture, as it should be, in the Magazine, going forwards.
This latest episode of Panel to Panel comes as Panini UK start to ramp up publicity for the impending release of their first Thirteenth Doctor collection, Mistress of Chaos, on sale in all good bookshops from 5th October.
