The Wonderlands UK Graphic Novel Expo is returning to the University of Sunderland City Space building on Saturday 3 June 2017. Running from 10am to 5pm it will feature its usual selection of talks, panels, workshops and a Publisher’s Hall of artists, writers, small pressers and dealers. Creators joining Bryan and Mary Talbot this year include John Wagner, John Higgins and Martin Rowson.

1330-1420 – Step Into Clockwork Watch, An Immersive Steampunk Storyworld – Yomi Ayeni gives a masterclass in creating an immersive and participatory storyworld for a graphic novel set in the make believe universe of Steampunk, but brought to life on the streets of London

This is the third time the event has been staged and previous years have shown it to have a relaxed atmosphere allowing guests and attendees to mingle and chat throughout the day. As in the previous two years it is also completely free.
