Limited to a run of only 500 copies, a small number of the special Electricomics booklet, originally produced for the team’s appearance at Thought Bubble Festival 2014 in Leeds, are now on sale online, along with a set of seven Electricomics badges.
All copies of the booklet, which features a a beautiful cover by Colleen Doran coloured by Jose Villarrubia are signed by Alan Moore. It includes an interview on the open platform digital comics project with Alan, and a three page comic by Digital Comics innovator Daniel Merlin Goodbrey, as well as sketchbook material and pencils by Colleen Doran, Nicola Scott and more.
The set of all seven Electricomics badges features the logos of all four of the forthcoming stories – Big Nemo, Sway, Red Horse and Cabaret Amygdala – designed by Todd Klein, the Electricomics kogo itself, an Electricomics badge and one featuring the lovely muse of Electricomics from Colleen Doran’s cover, coloured by Jose Villarrubia.
For the logistics of fulfilling orders, each transaction is limited to a maximum of six items. Transactions for more than six will be cancelled and asked to re-order.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
