Anderson Entertainment has teased the cover of their upcoming UFO Comic Anthology, bringing together strips published in the 1970s weekly comics Countdown and TV Action – and is soliciting views on their comic plans.
Inspired by the first Gerry and Sylvia Anderson live action series, the “UFO” strip featured by artists that included John M. Burns, Jon Davis, Brian Lewis, Gerry Haylock and more.
Gerry’s son, producer Jamie Anderson, has share a reader survey about the UFO Comic Anthology, hoping to reach the wider comics community through downthetubes and “to make sure we’ve not missed anything and so we can get a feel for what’s important to readers.”
More details on content will follow, and be ready for a livestream on from Anderson Entertainment about the project soon, with Jamie and downthetubes publisher John Freeman soon.
Pre-orders for the book will open very soon. Keep an eye on the Gerry Anderson web shop for details, or sign up for their newsletter.
