Some important news for users of our discussion forum. The downthetubes forum has changed location on the web to http://downthetubesforum.ning.com, as part of changes to the way the host, Ning, delivers its services.
To upgrade the site to take advantage of these, the URL change came with the territory.
Please update your bookmarks as it seems they have yet to ‘map’ the old forum address (http://downthetubes.ning.com) onto the new one. My apologies for this inconvenience. If you are already a member of our forum, your log-in details are unchanged.
The new forum should be more flexible and easier to use, although it does mean some features, such as photo albums, are no longer supported, which is a bit of a shame as although you can still post photos it doesn’t seem to be as easy to organise them. But there is much better ‘social media’ interaction, which should help you be able to better use your blogs and pages in combination with your facebook or Twitter accounts to promote your work. Please let us know what you think!
