
The latest issue of Monster Fun, a Twisted Time Travel Special, has just been released, with a cover by Matt Baxter.
Published by Rebellion, this issue’s lineup features “Gums” written by Stacey Whittle, drawn and lettered by Brett Parson; “Draculass”, written by Lizzie Boyle, drawn by Rositsa Vangelove and lettered by H.A. O’Millar; Hire A Horror by Matt Baxter; the inventive as ever “Hell’s Angel” by Chris Garbutt; “Kid Kong”, written by Alec Worley, with art by Karl Dixon; “The Leopard from Lime Street” written by Simon Furman, drawn by PJ Holden, coloured by John-Paul Bove and lettered by SquakeZz; “Space Invaded!” written and drawn by John Lucas, coloured by Barbara Nosenzo and lettered Jay Osborne; “Steel Commando”, written by Ned Hartley, drawn by Dan Boultwood and lettered by Leila Jess; and “Witch vs Warlock”, written by The Feek, drawn by Rebecca Morse, coloured by Hadrien Yannou, lettered by Ozwaldo Sanchez.

As we previously reported, Monster Fun comic is moving a monthly soon, due to popular demand from readers.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of big changes to Monster Fun subscriptions – now with lower prices, and brand-new exclusive gifts available just for subscribers who renew their subscriptions or join within the next year.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
